Gender: Female

I was born and raised in Oxford, I initially began working in the Breast imaging centre at the Churchill as a nursing assistant, but then my career path changed when I took an interest in emergency medicine.

I completed my Paramedic Science degree at the University of Worcester and graduated in 2018. I then began working as a frontline paramedic with South Central Ambulance Service.

I worked intensely during the pandemic, which increased my appreciation of minor illness.

I began my training as a Specialist Paramedic in 2021. This involved the completion of two level 7 modules, one in Minor injury, and one in Minor illness which I completed through West London University. This provided me with an enhance skill set, some of which include wound closure, x-ray interpretation, and catheter insertion.

I then decided it was time to step away from the fast pace of the ambulance service to work in an environment where I can utilise my new skill set and started working at the surgery in January 2023 (I will still do the occasional ambulance shift here and there)!

My role at the Practice is to address 'Urgent care' needs, my area of expertise is wound closure
